- Finsumo is now free to use, permanently, for tracking in a single currency — unlimited transactions, categories, tags, full history, every period, backup and restore, and the Money Manager import. Finsumo Pro, the same subscription at the same price as before, now covers only the multi-currency side: entering a transaction in a currency other than your active one, reading a period in another currency, the Bitcoin and stablecoin lens, the hand-typed exchange rate, and updating historical rates. No paywall on first launch — a locked control stays visible and explains itself when you tap it.
- A Home Screen widget in two sizes — the small tile opens Add Transaction in one tap, the medium tile splits into separate expense and income buttons. A matching Control Center and Lock Screen control does the same, and "Add expense with Finsumo" now works through Siri and the Shortcuts app. None of them show your spending; they only open the entry screen.
- Compare this period against the last one, category by category, with the amount and percentage change for each. A period still in progress is measured over the same number of elapsed days on both sides, rather than against a full one.
- Record the exchange you actually got: for a kiosk exchange or a hand-negotiated cash trade, enter both sides of the deal by hand — what you paid and what you actually received — instead of a single amount converted at the market rate. Both sides stay exact in their own currency.
- Opening a transaction's detail screen, and the screens around it, are dramatically faster on a large history. Returning to the app after a short break now keeps the period you were looking at instead of jumping back to the current one.
- Seven interface languages, with the paywall and currency picker fully translated.
- The App Store build of 1.0.5, with no changes of its own.
- Seven interface languages — English, Spanish, German, French, Russian, Japanese and Korean — plus a "follow system language" option, with correct plural forms in each.
- A wider currency catalogue.
- Fixes across the currency badge picker, the category and currency pickers' search, the rate update (now cancellable), backup file handling, and a transaction always taking its own date's rate.
- Track expenses and income in nine currencies — five national ones plus USDT, USDC, USDe and Bitcoin — and read totals back in any of them.
- Every transaction locks in the rate at the moment you enter it, so past totals never drift.
- View any period through a Bitcoin lens, priced at that day's historical rate.
- Colour-coded categories and free-form tags.
- One-step import of a Money Manager backup.
- Automatic daily on-device backup, plus export on demand.
- Subscription with a two-week free trial.
