License

Your use of the Balance Burn app distributed on the App Store is governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), which applies automatically because Balance Burn does not provide a custom EULA of its own. This page is a short supplement covering a few practical points and the in-app purchase terms; where anything here conflicts with Apple's EULA, the EULA governs.

What the app does

Balance Burn helps you spend down your Apple Account balance to exactly zero by computing a combination of in-app purchases that sums to the amount you type in, so that account's country or region can be changed. Your burn history is stored locally on your device; see the Privacy Policy for how that works and for the app's lack of network calls of its own.

Eligibility

You represent that you are of legal age to enter into these Terms in your jurisdiction and that your use of the app is lawful where you are located.

Consumable in-app purchases

Zeroing a balance uses one or more small consumable in-app purchases, each priced at one of the storefront's own available price points. Prices are shown in the App Store's purchase sheet before you confirm, in your local currency and at the price Apple's storefront lists for your account — deliberately not repeated here, since price points can change and a stale figure in a legal document is worse than none.

Each purchase is a one-time, non-renewing charge to your Apple ID account at confirmation. Consumable purchases are consumed immediately on delivery and, per Apple's own policies, are not eligible for return once fulfilled outside of Apple's standard refund process (see below).

Balance Burn does not choose how much of your balance to zero on its own — the app only ever suggests a combination for you to review and confirm, and no purchase happens without your explicit confirmation in Apple's own purchase sheet.

Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's own terms, not by the developer — request one through Apple's official refund page.

The app doesn't read your balance

Balance Burn has no access to your actual Apple Account balance — no app does, since iOS gives none of them that access. The amount you type in is taken on trust, and any combination of purchases the app suggests is only as accurate as that number. Checking your real balance yourself before and after burning it is your responsibility; see the Support page for where to find it.

What you're licensed to do

Apple's Standard EULA licenses you to use Balance Burn on devices signed into your Apple ID, on Apple's licensing terms; that license covers the free app on its own. None of this transfers any ownership of the app or its source code.

No warranty

Balance Burn is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or availability. Balance Burn does not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any suggested combination of purchases will exactly zero your balance, since the app has no way to verify your actual balance against the amount you typed in.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the developer be liable for any claim, loss, or damages of any kind — direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential — including but not limited to a balance not reaching exactly zero, a region change that is refused for any reason, or purchases made in reliance on figures shown by the app, arising from or in connection with the app or your use of it. This applies whether the claim is based in contract, tort, or any other legal theory. Nothing in this section is intended to exclude any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded; where a jurisdiction does not permit certain exclusions, this section applies to the maximum extent that jurisdiction allows.

Termination

You may stop using Balance Burn at any time by uninstalling it. Because your burn history is stored locally, uninstalling permanently deletes it; nothing about a past purchase is recoverable from the app once that happens, though your purchase history itself remains visible in your Apple ID purchase history, as with any App Store purchase.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the update is posted here with a new "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
