Exactly zero, not almost

Type in your balance and Balance Burn picks a set of in-app purchases that adds up to exactly that amount. It works from the real prices in your own App Store, in your own currency, so the plan you see is exactly what you pay.

Not sure what your balance is? Look in Settings → your name → Payment & Shipping, or on your profile page in the App Store.

See the plan before you buy

The plan lists every purchase and the total, ready to go — no fiddling with quantities. Checkout tells you how many App Store confirmations it will take, and nothing is bought until you confirm. Want a different amount? Just change the balance you typed.

Confirm, and you're done

Each purchase is approved in Apple's usual payment sheet, one after another. Payment goes through Apple — the developer never sees your card details. When the last purchase goes through, your balance is zero.

Your starting point on Home

Before you type anything, Home shows the smallest balance your App Store can burn to exactly zero, worked out from its current prices.

When exact zero isn't possible

Some amounts can't be hit exactly. When yours is one of them, Balance Burn shows the closest amounts it can burn, below and above yours, and how much to top up. Add that — with a gift card, for example — and burn the new total to zero.

Price sets tuned for eight regions

Balance Burn works with your own App Store's prices wherever you are. In eight regions it goes further: its seven purchases carry price sets picked so that far more balances land on exactly zero — the United States, Russia, Kazakhstan, Türkiye, Romania, Hungary, Poland and India.

Here is what that means in seven of them. In every one, a typical $20–30 balance burns to exactly zero with nothing left over.

Your fire spirit

Every purchase adds sparks to a fire elemental that grows through six ranks, from a Spark to a Phoenix. History keeps your past burns on your device, and Share sends your rank to a friend with a link to the app.

iPhone and iPad

Balance Burn runs natively on iPad in portrait and landscape, with a two-pane Home and a full-width plan. On iPhone it's a clean portrait app.

English, Russian, Spanish

Switch the language from Home's toolbar — System, English, Русский or Español — and it changes right away, no restart. Language and currency are separate: a Russian speaker on a Kazakhstan account reads Russian and still sees tenge.
